Non-Refundable Estimate Fee. Pena’s Handy Services LLC (“Contractor”) charges a non-refundable estimate fee of:

$300 for projects at or below a total project price of $30,000.00, or;

1% for projects above a total project price of $30,000.

Total project price will be determined by Contractor in Contractor’s reasonable discretion. This estimate fee corresponds to the amount of work, resources and time spent by the Contractor for preparation of an estimate for Owner’s approval. If Owner enters into a construction contract with the Contractor with in 30 days after the estimate, the estimate fee will be credited toward the total contract price. An estimate does not include: engineering, architectural plans, permit drawings, or final pricing guarantees. The estimate is preliminary and is not a final bid, engineering analysis or permit-ready design. Services provided by Contractor are the type for which the total price of the service cannot be reasonably known at the time of the estimate as factors that determine the total contract price are beyond the control of Contractor, including factors that are determined by Owner selections or preferences that relate to: the type of finishes and fixtures chosen, quality and availability of materials, architectural complexity, size and layout, access and logistics, utilities, required remediation, unknown and unforeseen architectural and engineering conditions and other conditions which are unforeseeable at the outset of the project. Owner authorizes Contractor to charge the estimate fee to the payment method provided upon submittal of an “Estimate Request.” No estimate will be prepared until payment is received by Contractor.
